Improve Extract Trends
Trends are strongest when Extracts come from multiple relevant conversations. Review duplicate Extracts before generating trends, and rename broad trend labels when a more precise product phrase will be useful as a backlog tag.
Because the trend name becomes a Feature tag during promotion, use a concise label that will remain meaningful in backlog filters.
Focus Synthesis on a Topic
Enter a short topic before generating Synthesis when you know what you want to investigate. For example, enter integrations to focus the generated opportunities on integration-related evidence. Leave the field empty to discover themes across all available evidence.
Improve Competitive Reports
Keep the competitor list focused and maintain a specific industry description. Scheduled reports support weekly and biweekly frequencies. Align the report day with an existing planning or strategy review so new evidence is evaluated promptly.
Interpret Synthesis Carefully
Synthesis combines evidence; it does not replace product judgment. Check the source evidence, watch for contradictions, and add only opportunities that deserve backlog evaluation.
Each generation is retained. Use the generated date, evidence dates, and backlog state to distinguish earlier opportunities from newer ones. Adding or dismissing opportunities also helps later generations avoid repeating weak themes and recognize useful ones when current evidence supports them.
Rollout Control
Discovery may be enabled gradually by your Lodestone administrator. When it is disabled for an organization, its navigation and direct routes are unavailable.
